With all the awesome expansions, we got way more devotion shrines than we need to reach the 55 devotion points. And after reaching that limit (usually by the and of 2. difficulty) there is not really much motivation to search for the rest of the shrines. Especially the ones that are hidden well or part of a questline i rarely do anymore. And thats kinda wasted potential imo. I would really love to have some kind of motivation the “catch em all”!.
A highler limit for dev points isnt really a solition because it would set off the balance too much.
But i think a very good motivation but not too crazy game-shifting solition would be after reaching the cap of 55 dev pts. every cleansed dev shrine gives one status point! I dont know the exact numbers but i assume that would be like 20 to 30 status points in the end, which should be relatively easy to rebalance (if needed to rebelance at all - we talk absolute endgame). I personally would get really motivated again to get all shrines and on the other hand its not absolutely necessary for people who dont like doing that.
