Great news. Diablo (the first one) had the best ambiance of any game I’ve ever played. I still remember the first time I met the Butcher and heard ‘Fresh Meat’. That was about 20 years ago. Welcome to the team Hyboreal.

I haven’t felt that. Sure, we are absolutely thrilled to see a new addition to the team and have confidence that Eric’s experience will make what we all call [STRIKE]an already excellent game into an even better one[/STRIKE] (BTW, how old does one has to be to have actually worked on the development of Diablo 1 ? No offense there, I’m just trying to know you a little bit better.)

Plus, it’s a credit to Medierra’s management skills : Crate’s team is looking mighty fine, those things don’t simply happen by themselves.

Welcome Eric - despite never playing a Diablo game the amount of praise for your work is enough that I understand how much your addition to the team means to both the devs and the hardcore ARPG-ers in GD’s fanbase.
