Diagonal wall connetions

So i’m not sure this is a bug or not, but i would like the walls to connect a bit better.
So diagonal walls/gates click on to vertical/horizontal walls better.

What was the order you built these hedges in to generate this?

I tried remaking it and got this:

The top gate first, then up from the bottom gate. Last piece was the connector piece.

Upgrading an already built wooden wall to a stone wall also seems to cause this

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place a gate.
2. Place a fence next to the gate.
3. Connect another fence to the first one at a different angle.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

This issue only occurs when the fence is placed next to a gate.
The same behavior can also be observed with wooden fences.
