That is a very, very outdated wiki entry.
I have been playing for two years and don’t even remember resist ointments giving increased res cap.
Emphasis on VERY outdated. That’s not even the wiki we point players to.
It was super confusing for me too that we have two wikis.

Even that one would need a lot of entries though, especially for items and monsters. Is there someone on the forums who updates these regularly?
To search for items, equipment, skills and monsters just use Grim Tools, because Grim Tools is always updated.
