While originally i intended this thread to be solely focused on Discord Cadence, I noticed some user contributed solution for itemization go down the pile. This is troubling as if the problems aren’t brought to the attention of the developers they won’t realize the problems with some items sets/items

Now on to Discord,
There are two class combinations that support this - Witchblade and Battlemage. The upcoming Inquisitor also can support this.
Problem is the best options to make a Discord build is using Warborn and Iskandra set. I for one believe Elemental Cadence should have it’s own item set, with some RR bonuses (since Elemental Lacks in this department). This would add to build diversity as this would allow a lot more classes to use Discord
Despite the rework the limited gearing options and not to mention and horrible Tier - 3 Constellation makes it unappealing.
Currently we don’t have many Elemental Legendary weapons either
Please contribute to the thread by pointing out awkwardly placed plus skills in legendaries and legendary items lacking resistances.
Epic items discussion isn’t required at the moment imo as legendary are the usual BiS options and i find it bothersome when BiS options have awkward issues, Epic and Empowered epics serve the purpose of acting as intermediate items till the desired BiS option can be obtained.
Why just witchblade and battlemage? I mean commando, warder and BM supports it as much as former.
Joke aside, transmuted cadence is bad joke, due to so many gearing/devotion issues thats its not even funny to play with it imho.
But again adding some dedicated gear to transmuted cadence in this state of game is even bigger joke simply because cadence already have one totally dedicated set, few of them more or less partially dedicated, so many, and I really mean so many, gear pieces with + to cadence that it makes it one of the best supported skill in game on top of soldier arguably being most supported single class in game.
I wish that all skill lines were so well supported as cadence and all classes as soldier than we could talk about supporting transmuted cadence more.
I put my hopes into the expansion and the Inquisitor to bring us some viable sets with +elemental on them. And hopefully they are not messed up with ranged exclusive skills/ranged weapons. :rolleyes:
I made a elemental S&B battlemage for Gladiator purpose, i dont even use it … :rolleyes:, so yes i agree that Cadence transmuter is in pretty bad shape in the current state, tho i have to disagree on your thought about elemental build, its stronger than you think. (i’am even surprised myself xD)
I’m actually curious why there is no master thread compiling things that the community finds underpowered, poorly implemented or supported.
While I can foresee the potential for it to descend into a lot of pointless arguments around some controversial topics, there’s plenty of stuff that’s supposed to be a thing that works in the game that just… doesn’t. Or takes far more effort to pull off than a reasonable person would expect.
Would it help if there was? So far there’s a fair amount of agreement that Blade Trap and Canister Bomb have issues. Nothing can possibly come of it until after the expansion, more likely after the one to three balancing patches that’ll come after the expansion before things settle down. At best, we can hope for those skills to be reworked in a year. If at all.
If Elemental support isn’t in the expansion, I’m just resigning myself to not having it ever.

Agree with lack of good items (and devotions, we all know that’s Blind Sage is bad joke) that’s support elemental damage.
Blind Sage isn’t a bad joke, it’s just weaker than most (all? perhaps) tier 3 devotions. I’m using it right now in a PRM build and honestly, it works really well.
Edit: the one thing that’s bothering me item wise is that the Clairvoyant set gives a bonus to second rite, a modifier to a skill that is almost purely melee oriented. Probably a relic of a couple of years ago, but still, this annoys me.
Both Nex/Ortus and Demonslayer sets could use those sweet altered skills coming with the expansion as fixes. Nex/Ortus set bonus could hit with both weapons per your suggestion in the other thread or do something crazier like convert that useless pierce damage on the swords or reduce the ABB cooldown. I’d personally like to see the Demonslayer set bonuses turn Blade Spirit & Blade Trap into potentials for skill investments if skill overhauls aren’t happening anytime soon. Perhaps borrow Cornucopia’s work on making Blade Trap affect bosses and then convert Blade Spirit’s pierce to vitality.
Elemental builds can be good my point is they need more brainpower and effort due to the general lack of good item and devotion support
