Title. I know, legendaries gives better stuff, but i’m thinking dismantling epics too. If it were possible, I’d like to see how good/bad it is before start spending dynamite and gold iron like hell.
i heard somewhere it is 25% chance to get rare crafting material from epic against 50% from legendary item.
I personally sell all epics that i don’t need, i don’t dismantle them.
mamba? posted a list a somewhere
i think the numbers ended up just like Angmar said, difference is in the type of mats/brain heart/eyes/essence etc distribution rate and char level apparently also affected those distributions
In the past i’d normally have recommended dismantling, but honestly with boosted drops from troves it’s just better to not waste the dynamite even on blowing up legends now, imo (if material roi is a concern)
^unless for when you actually need scrap to craft Stoneplates etc ofc ![]()
edit. Asylum confirming the 25/50 interaction on epic-legends Anyone know the percentages on dismantling epics and getting the purple components? - #2 by ASYLUM101
Mamba’s distribution rate for legends Some data on chances to get particular materials from dismantling legendaries - #10 by mamba
Okey okey, I guess I’ll sell epic then.
But first i’ve stuff to do.
We also have this. I’m building something that might need that with specific affixes.
ye hence the “etc” part, there are several magick recipes(now rare) that can be used for endgame builds that might require a couple thousand crafts, gotta spend those iron bits somehow ![]()
