If i have it on weapon, legs and gloves for example? or is that triply redundant
You should test it for us, if you have the items for it. My guess would be they won’t, but the easiest way to find out is to equip items with it, let yourself get hit, and see if you have 2 buff while being hit. Most things won’t stack, but Bloodthirst allows two versions, although they apply to separate weapons, which is why I think it is allowed.
Wow it appears that it does. I put on 4 x battle cry and i think got 4 icons. i’ll keep testing to make sure but it looks like it stacks. not all are triggered on hit, some that i’ve found are on block, so i’m using both.
EDIT: Ok not quite. it looks like Battle Cry can stack from any TWO sources. any more than that and it won’t stack. I have so many little blue icons I thought I saw more, but #3 and #4 are only allowed to kick in when the others wear off. so if you have more than 4 you effectively shorten the CD because they will wait to proc, but it won’t stack higher than twice.
You mentioned you had one that triggered on block, and another on hit. I wonder if they are treated separately due to being a slightly different version of the same skill. Maybe you can test it again, but only using items that are on hit, or on block.
The skill isn’t dictated by what the autocast condition is. That’s irrelevant.
If, internally, there are two separate battlecry skills, they would stack. But one battlecry might activate on block and another on hit, but if they’re both the same skill internally, they wouldn’t stack.
There’s not really any way to tell in-game. You’d have to look at the game files to determine which items are linking to which skill.
Sure you could. Just equip multiple items with On-Hit versions without the on-block version, and see if they stack or not by checking for multiple buff icons as he did before. If it stacks, it will stack. If not, it won’t.
He already established that with both, and and more, he was able to get 2 buffs. He can do more testing to narrow it down to see if it is a matter a number limit, or a version difference.
Trying to look up Battlecry, but all the searches revert to War Cry.
My question is: Does Battlecry only affect pets and/or possibly allies - not the caster himself?
