Does Cadence/Fire Strike replace 'on auto' procs?

For example, Markovian’s Advantage and Zolhan’s Technique, does Cadence (3rd hit) replace these or can one or both still be activated at the same time? What about Fire Strike? TIA

cadence 3rd hit overrides the wps (MA &ZT can only proc on first 2 hits)

Firestrike can proc wps

So if I use Fire Strike as my auto, it can proc any other ‘on auto attack’ procs simultaneously?

yes firestrike can proc any of the WPS skills from Soldier, Nightblade, Shaman (only 1 can proc at a time tho)

Does hit, when WPS procs, count as Cadence charge? I mean, if you just fire-off charged Cadence, and next hit some of WPS procs, do you need 1 more hit to charge up Cadence again or 2 more hits?

Yes it’s a charge. You can have for example MA+ZT>cadence…ZT+normal attack>Cadence etc…

Thank you! It will be very helpfull for me, coz before i try to avoid WPS when playing with Cadence.

Depends on the build. People usually avoid markovian advantage late game or leave it at one point and let + skills do the rest since it’s low damage

WPS skills arent good with Cadence, because Cadence’s damage is “focused” in the 3-rd hit, and this hit doesnt get mutiplied by WPS.
All other auto-attack replacers strongly favour WPS. For example, Fire Strike’s %weapon damage will be multiplied with WPS weapon damage, and extra skill damage will be dealt to all targets hits (or to single target few times). Same for Savagery and its 2 item variants.

Can you explain this a bit more?

What does WPS stand for?

Are you saying Fire Strike % and bonus damage if it procs a skill will also modify that skill with extra damage somehow? If so, exactly how? A specific example would be great, having a hard time understanding. Thanks!

wps are the procs in skill trees like Markovians Advantage, Zolhans Technique, Belgothian Shears, Amarastas Quick Cut, Whirling Death, Execution & Feral Hunger. These procs damage get added on to firestrike damage when they proc.

WPS stands for Weapon Pool Skill.

Say you have a weapon that deals 100 damage, fire strike dealing 150% damage and 10 fire damage, and execution dealing 200% damage. Your fire strike would initially turn your 100 damage into 150 damage + 10 fire damage so 160 damage total.

AND your execution would fire, giving you 200% of 160, or 320 damage. You can probably see how this can get ridiculous quickly.
