Does Flame Torrent's 35% weapon damage proc life leech/ADCTH for my character?

It will do but at a reduced rate as it is below 100% weapon damage.

Thanks. I was already aware of the reduced ratio since I’m doing a FoI leech build and 35% more weapon damage is going to more than double my current sustain.

If this doubles your sustain than your build has a problem.

At 35% effectiveness you’ll only get 1/3 of your leech. So with 10% ACDT you’ll only be leeching for 3% and that is before boss resists kick in, which will lower that to something like 0.3% to 0.6%.

The leech might be enough for trash mobs, but if you rely on it for bosses you’ll be disappointed.

It appears the standard for keeping your health up with FoI builds is life leach. Yes, it’s low percentage, but the DPS is high, and it is AoE. You can stick and move a bit too, as FoI doubles as a DoT. At about 20% ADCTH, and the use of Elemental Storm/Aura of Censure and Eldritch Fire to help with the resists, it heals pretty good. Not good enough to tank, but good enough to stick and move on bosses, and tank trash.

Hell yes. It’s one of the reasons some mages/builds can even survive crucible. But you’ll need to stack a bit more life steal to feel it because it’s at 30% efficiency (max being 100% wp dmg not beyond that)
