Does Mad Queen Deserve a Buff?

All Hail the Mad Queen! . This quote was from a long time past. Everybody is now disrespecting the Queen.!

Look at all the many builds posted in this forum. All people are harassing the queen for like 6 to 7 seconds boasting their characters to the full! What a disrespect to what was once of the most fearsome enemy that walked breathed terror in all of Cairn.

For me she deserves some power up. What do you guys think. ? Can the queen regain back her lost glory?

Nah she is fine. For what it gives she is strong enough.

but shes a super boss right? It just feels funny to see her go down in like 5 seconds like trash. In talking about videos posted in compendium.

In my experience she is strong but when figured out she is nothing. My suggestion is boost her other damage types. Poision rarely kills you and the snakes she summons does barely affect the player

All the builds that do 7 seconds are ultra specific builds made for single targets, meaning they most likely have shit AoE and struggle with mobs of enemies.

Let’s not buff enemies based on that. And she’s not a super boss, she’s Nemesis level.

Also iirc the nemesis heroes in Crucible are a bit nerfed compared to campaign.

I’ll be honest, I voted yes only to get her buffed. I don’t know if she’s weak now or not, I mostly kite her anyway because there’s so much room in her… uh… room… that it’s fun to to do that. The last time I facetanked her I lived with 1 HP for literally few seconds, forgetting I have potions, but hey, I kept fighting and didn’t die.

Yeah, buff her, give her +100% all damage after dropping below 25% HP. Just do that, I am seriously serious and I was never as seriously serious as I am today.

Yes I like that idea. I hope they include in the balance patch, a passing survey of all monsters in game analyzing their current geiger power level relative to how good players have become and gears of player too maybe in ultimate exlusively

no, she is not

you guys are right. Base game had john whiskey and Mog as super enemies. :undecided:

Still our queen could use a buff.

You know what I wished when I saw that foundation of corpses area, a huge space where lots of potential. it could use some aoe mechanic in there similar to what Tq had done to Cerberus room with all aoe on the floor also charon etc. And those snakes those snakes. Need moar support from ads or better give MQ a slow effect so that he can catch those who kite her or boost her with a charged attack. sigh maybe its too late to change that? pretty please?

don the other note. If she aint buff. Forgotten gods could use a Mad King! Scarab Beetle anyone? :stuck_out_tongue:

Buffing enemies because ultra geared characters can beat Nemeses and other major enemies in seconds is a terrible, awful idea. It’s like people keep forgetting some players have average gear or are undergeared. Or maybe some builds are just underpowered.

You can’t possibly ask to buff end-game content while your only argument is BiS end-game lvl 100 fully geared characters have it easy.

Those bosses are the only source of farming to get end-game items.

And anyway most of these bosses (MQ, Sharzul, Kra’vall, Gargabol and Alkamos) are all very strong even for late game, lvl 94-100 non-fully geared character, and to some instant, almost impossible without proper gear/specific high stats (Kra’vall after buff) or require alot of kitting.

If you buff them, how are players going to farm and aquire gear?

Exacly this.

Farming in this game, with the crazy large myth. pool of item, demands 100’s of hours to even aquire a few pieces of a specific set, and that doesn’t mean you found other proper items.

I actually read it “no, she’s hot”, lol…

Ok, I am officially done in my life. I’ve experienced everything now. I can die in peace.

voted no because making her stronger would take much longer time from build testers to test a build. Her current status( no 2nd phase form, just the right amount of hp and has burst damage makes her a fasr viable testing ground for many builds compared to searching a nemesis to test with. I’d rather have the developers focus on FG;)

no again! she is very deadly especially at 2am:rolleyes:

Anything that can be beaten under 10 seconds should be reworked 100%.

Voted no.

The implication in the poll option that whoever votes no just can’t deal with her triggered me a bit. That’s why you won’t be getting any reasonings.

I have to say for the amount of whining MQ has had pre and Post AOM I find this thread extremely funny:D

MQ is fine as is. Not fair to judge based on end game chars that have the mechanics in place to circumvent her retal aura in under 10 sec

Voted no in the name of peace and prosperity :stuck_out_tongue:
