Does oathkeeper seem op to you?

mm… the min-maxers like to do lots of things. Sometimes pat each other on the back. Sometimes argue about whatever min-maxers argue about. In the end they have to make Zantai see it their way. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don’t. Either way it goes it’s still Crate making the calls. Fortunately I’m not a min-maxer, too many cooks in the kitchen with that anyway.

Imagine like 10 of these guys thrown together…

…it’s kinda like that. Fun to watch sometimes tho.

OP or not, Oathkeeper is fun (even if it’s not dual-wielding shields) and we all already know that after release Oathkeeper tuning will probably carry on based on public feedback so it isn’t like FG release is going to be the end of the line on the matter. Popcorn-eating Praetorians might look shiny but that’s just because their greasy butter-soaked hands have been wiping their faces… all you guys are the ones where the power lies.

Since when does the testing team create “broken OP builds”? All the seemingly broken builds are from people outside of testing.

I don’t know if Oathkeeper is OP or not, but from what I 've seen, I have to admit that I didn’t think another fire focused mastery is needed in the game, since fire damage is very prevalent in masteries and items already.

From the lore descriptions of Oathkeeper, as a figure that can serve the Witch Gods, I expected some chaos damage support in the mastery. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there’s any, right?

To me it looks like a very point hungry mastery so far. There are many great abilities and also good passives, a juicy toggle, an insane circuit breaker and a tenacity of the boar like buff on a defaultattack replacer, etc. That’s a lot of points spent on buffs before even using actual damage skills though

Well, this alone is probably fine. But crate has trouble juggling item bonuses imho. I think items will be the influence here.

For example, Inquisitor has a crapload of +1 to all skills on many gears, quite a few shared with other masteries too.

Choosing between a large skill selection becomes much less of an issue, when a single point and 5x +1 to skills gives 6 in every skill - as an example.

as far as we know you’re corect. that said there is some support coming for chaos in itemisation (Rah Zin set for melee, and i think a caster set was mentioned too). the Witch Gods in OK are represented by poison and vitality transmuters (and an exclusive).
