Does Rhowan's Scepter work with scepters?

I was thinking about grabbing it for the affinities, but since I’m using a scepter for fleshwarped strikes I’m not sure if it will actually work? I mean…the constellation is called Rhowan’s Scepter, so I’d kind of expect a scepter to work. At the same time though, it specifically says it requires a mace. Does a scepter still count as a mace?

Nope.

It even says “requires a mace”.

For the affinities? are you doing aether dmg or converted to something else? What are you doing in that area of the devotion map?

Seems he got lost in space

should be called Rhowan’s Mace right? :stuck_out_tongue: like how Harvestman’s Scythe should only work with scythe weapons, Staff of Rattosh for staffs and Assassin’s blade for blade weapons only. The game should be honest and on point like allowing Solael’s Witchblade devotion , witchblade exclusive!

Don’t, i’m so close to replaying STALKER for the 100th time

Rhowan had a mace which he named ‘Scepter’, maybe John Scepter for all I know.
If you name your dog ‘Cat’ it’s still a dog.

ok, thanks added to my wishlist! :stuck_out_tongue:

No no, it should only work when wielding a sickle

Thanks for the answers. I do feel compelled to at least somewhat defend myself though, so here’s a few replies to try to explain my thought process.

I’m aware of that, and mentioned it in my first post. My hope was that a scepter counted as a type of mace (like in Path of Exile and Diablo 2), since they ARE fairly similar objects.

This seems like a bit of false equivalence to me. All of those combinations CAN be used. They aren’t exclusive, but that’s irrelavent to the conversation at hand. A closer comparison would be if Assassin’s Blade had a weapon requirement that didn’t include blades.

Well I’m trying to plan out a Death Knight. The purple and white would support Typhos and the white would also build toward Rattosh. I’ll just have to use other sources of those colors.
