I was thinking of adding it for fun to my Primal Strike Shaman. This applies to other skills to, wondering if they only add to the skill in the direct line (stuff connected by lines) or if they work with anything. ie. does the fact they have a line just mean it’s a pre-requisite (obviously taking into account where the notes specifically say X won’t work off x ability).
Storm Touched only affects the Savagery skill. It’s effects won’t occur unless you are actively using Savagery.
This depends on the precise skill, most only effect the skill they are attached to (same line), but some like Deadly Momentum give a buff that applies to ALL attacks while it’s active.
Also, even if it helped your Primal Strike, you wouldn’t gain the attack speed buff since Primal Strike uses cast speed

Thanks so much! You saved me from investing in a skill that would have done nothing for me. BTW, is there some way to see a breakdown of stats when you hit an enemy to see exactly what did the damage? I’ve looked through the 3 stat categories in the character screen, so I can see what might do damage, but it’d be really helpful if I I could see what is actually doing what. Even if it outputted to a log file and couldn’t display on screen, that would be fine.
