Does the town centre bell make any difference with 1000+ villagers? Do you know?
It will save some who go inside when they hear it ring.

I will also provide additional offensive capabilities as villagers will shoot arrows from the town center if they are garrisoned inside during a raid.

In my current 1300 pop city I no longer click the town center bell, makes no difference to me since there are so many defences so far away from the town center, I also placed the town center at the top of a mountain so it’s pretty inaccessible for raiders to even get close.
The ring bell makes sense in the early times of a game.

In my plays it really doesn’t. Mainly because my town center would be… In the center and it would only pull the 20-30 villages nearest into it. Hopefully ringing the bell would send all villages into their houses or something in the future
