DoM or Grimarillion. Which one do you recommend?

Hey,
I decided to return to Grim Dawn.
Playing vanilla GD at the moment.
I played DoM, awesome mod, tons of content, etc.
I heard that DoM is rather unbalanced.
I do not know if that is true.
I heard from Youtube comments that Grimarillion is more balanced?
Is it true?
I will return to modding of GD when I am finished with my vanilla experience.

Grimarillion is more balanced and DoM hasn’t been updated for a while.

I haven’t yet tried Grimarillion, i only played DoM.
By the way does Grim work with the newest patch aka 1.2.1.5a .

It should far as I know. People have been playing the mod in the latest patch.
