Doom Bolt math with Storm Herald

Hi,

I’m confused on how the conversion damage works on Storm Herald.

I have a level 17 Doom Bolt that should do 4020+5633 or 9563 lightning damage. My lightning modifier is +192%, so mathematically I’d expect it to do about 27.9k damage.

However, it only does about 12k per shot. Does the conversion into lighting for Doom Bolt only work for either vitality or chaos but not both, so the actual lightning damage done isn’t 4020+5633?

Working as intended, your %damage is already included in the numbers you see on the skill tree.

use Grimtools to see base dmg on skills (and MIs) instead if you want to manually factor in bonus dmg etc
*note currently not updated to v.1.6 and buffed DB stats yet
