An item that has doom bolt proc chance? I swear I have seen this before, but i can’t seem to find it in database or if it’s a rare roll? Not sure.
I assume if there is something that procs it, it’s on a decent cooldown.
Just hoping someone could help me out with that question.

I was just messing with some builds… and I’ll try not to overload with questions since figuring out some stuff is the fun of it… buttttt, IF I were to try to do a proc build, and was using doom bolt from items as well… does skilling doom bolt as a Conjurer do anything to change the proc?
Obviously +damage% will from other conjurer skills or passives… but I was just realizing that you don’t even necessarily NEED to skill doom bolt, or even be conjurer, to utilize the proc, right? As in… +levels to Doom bolt in conjurer wouldn’t do anything for the proc either…
Edit: Actually, another question, lol… on the item Storm Herld, which as a Bonus 250-600 Lightning damage to Doom Bolt… now would THAT apply to a Doom Bolt proc from an item?
No item procs are separate and cannot be changed except with +% Damage in your character.
item granted skills/procs are completely separate from mastery skills
as such no mastery bonus to a skill or item modifiers apply, only thing that applies are regular global stats like global dmg boosts (in this case %dmg) and global conversions
