Hope everyone enjoys the new patch! As we got a new set for DEE (Rotgheist), let’s talk a bit about DEE and also the oldest set dedicated to that skill, Dreeg’s set:
Afaik Deeg’s set is pretty terrible. I understand crate doesn’t want to touch DEE right now and see how good Rotgheist is gonna be first, but that doesn’t change the fact that they could’ve improved dreeg’s set for spam DEE. Dreeg’s set’s identitiy should be either acid or vit spam DEE as we already got Daega’s set+bramblevine for retal DEE and now Rotgheist + nar adin for transmuted poison DEE. Dreeg’s set either needs 100% vit to acid conversion to DEE instead/on top of its current 50% vit to acid (25% on shoulders/chest each) or it needs the support of a piece of gear outside of the set that has 100% vit to acid conversion to DEE (outside of bramblevine). Groble toxic effigy would be a good contender for that imo (would buff DEE’s lvling aswell). Also besides that maybe DEE needs a similar treatment that CT (more flat damage) and BladeArc (buff to spam version, while keeping CD version the same) are getting right now?

What are your thoughts about and experiences with DEE, dreeg’s set and especially with the new Rotgheist set? And what does Dreeg’s set and spam DEE need to be good?

well, depending on how things go with the belt change on Pack of Treacherous means (Lots of QQ by some), DEE set could have some interesting vit->acid applications.

DEE itself is pretty clunky, but with 100% convert (only 50% from the set) and the belt allowing DW, you could do some interesting things with the set (SoC variants, Necro crossovers, etc).

Previously you needed a specialized MI offhand and a specific medal to get to that point.

I wouldn’t say Rotgheist is good for DEE. It’s primerly fo vit primal strike. I made a theory archon to that set and still don’t have the OA. Dunno if a Conjurer better for a PS build, since it is more squishy.

Over the year i have seen lot of dreeg build (not much), but to be honest some of the set works only with 1 combination. Like my infernal knight Purifier.

Ulzuin got buff, IK don’t… That’s why only works with shieldbreaker.
