Theres a chance this was said before and im sorry if thats the case, but one of the few things that I really found annoying in this game was, that when a lot of items drop the text blocks out the sight on the battle and ive died multiple times just because everything i could see was items.
Maybe the items fading after a few seconds until you press the button to show them again or something like that would help out a LOT imho.
As a sidenote some spell effects really could profit from being tuned down a little bit, the elemental force proc from the ruby and sapphire of elemental balance is something id like to give as an example.
While it looks pretty cool, once i get a few proccs everything is white and theres quite a few spells like that.
You change the rarity and then press Alt to show everything.
Anyway about 10 minutes into the games you won’t pick up any White. Won’t start back the debate about Yellow but I usually don’t even end ACT 1 before turning them off also.
even if only legendary are shown often enough I cant see a single enemy because my whole screen is full of crafting mats and gold and potions.
It would be easy to fix if there was an option to make the text transparent or something like that.
I really love the game but Id kinda like to see the game im playing and not only the items.
well that works for spell effects but it doesnt for the item drops does it?
I think the devs should just implement a button which hides all drops on the ground until you press it again. Item filter is not a solution, at best a workaround. Most of the time I only have greens or better items for the filter, but in some situations you can get the screen swamped with stuff anyway. Changing the filter is a distraction to the combat and not a real solution…
