Now, I have this strange issue with, oddly, just Grim Dawn (Grimellion mod), that I cannot figure out.
All my games run on Monitor 1, the right side monitor.
Just installed, GD did this as well.
Second time I started GD up… it fired up on monitor 2?
I haven’t changed a thing in the setup, still…
And what baffles me is… only GD does that.
None of my other games.
2 part question:
Why on Jupiter does GD do this, what can cause this?
The obvious: How on Heaven’s name do I fix this (only GD, not the vid setting, as per earlier stated, only GD does this)? Is there a setting where I can choose what monitor to run it on? And just where/how (if to be scripted/edited in some file(s) do I do this?
Are you certain that within Windows display settings the monitors are correct, one as primary (1) and the other as secondary (2)? You can display the 1 and 2 on the monitor via the display utility (where you change the settings).
If you double check the video settings within GD, did it save your change, or did it revert back to the secondary monitor. Just wanting to see if your settings are not saving.
I had the same trouble in the past and the workaround I found was Steam Big Picture mode to switch to the correct display ( under the preferences once you’re in big picture mode ) . Hope it helps . if you’re not playing GD from steam, forget it ^^
