Recently visiting my ABB Pistol Breaker, i realized that Amarasta’s Blade Burst could use some more ranged item support.
Since ABB doesn’t work at all with DW Melee Weapons (when dual wielding only Off-Hand damage matters for ABB, Main hand is ignored), Pistols are the best bet for ABB
ABB itself is mostly preferred for its global buff Lethal Assault, but i find the skill itself pretty fun to play with
Since ABB has a small chance to hit with both hands when going ranged (unlike melee) i’d like to propose a Legendary item set support Amarasta’s Blade Burst focused entirely on Cold Ranged WPS.
I got the idea from my Barrelsmith WPS Pyro, who uses ranged WPS. I know inquisitor will bring in ranged WPS, but a set like this would contribute to build diversity
TL;DR
Make a Dual Pistol Legendary set supporting Amarasta’s Blade Burst, giving us Cold based WPS
Similar to the Barrelsmith set which has fire based WPS

I’ll vote yes, I suppose. Not because I specifically would use it, but just because I think having support for all the various attack skills with 1H and 2H, melee and ranged, is important.
Part of the fun for me in this game is making unusual and creative builds work, and i’d love to see some support from the game in the item department for more build diversity
I like to push for “generics”, as I call them. The Rover Talisman, for example… Is generically good. It’s not really great for anything, but it’s alright for pretty much anything. More items like that might be worthwhile. Maybe a series of Total Damage focused items?
