Dual Wielding Shields?

Thinking of making a Dual wields shield retaliation build but not sure if I an wield the two shields I want at the same time? Is the dual shields limited to forced use of shields labeled as maces and then a regular shield or can I use Mythical Zolhan’s Revenage coupled with Mythical Bramblevine? Don’t want to start the build if I can’t actually use 2 shields, grim tools sure as heck won’t let me use two shields.

No, you can only use the Totally Normal shields for dual wielding shields. Crate made them precisely for that purpose because many people asked to be able to dual wield shields.

Like Medea said, you can only dual wield shields with the Totally Normal Shield series of shields. But the game actually considered them maces, Crate just gave them the appearance of shields because people were asking for dual wield shields.

/whispers - well, me and a few others - if memory serves I think even jiaco was in favor of it

forget dual wielding shields, dual wielding books is the trend right now in cairn. what with all the aether/void/eldritch/yugol-y energies warping cairn everyday, bonking enemies with magical books can deal much more damage than internal trauma to your enemies’ heads (including enemies with no heads)

Welcome to the game of ADOM! You can dual-wield shields there, although you can’t use any spells, but that’s okay!

I wanted dual wielding books for maximum nerdiness, whatever…

Dual wield shields is totally normal thing as well.

Try some Tales of Maj’Eyal, which has the Stone Warden - they dual-wield shields and have some pretty damned awesome magical abilities.

Tried that one, but somehow wasn’t my thing =\ But thanks for suggestion nonetheless.
