Compare with Lightning Trickster, Elementalist has skill that gives nice Lightning RR (Thermite Mine from Demolitionist Tree)
It gives us -50% Lightning RR (16/16), so we get additional one beside Arcane Bomb, Viper, and Elemental Storm
Two Handed Lightning Elementalist with Full Ultos Set is really nice, and here’s the DW variant with Dual Crytallums
You can leveling with Greater Fireblast (LMB) (Flintcore Bolts component socketing into guns, crossbows, or caster off-hand) combine with Conflagration (RMB) (Trascendent Relic that gives Conflagration skill)
Conflagration nice for Bosses and really “healthy” with your mana (you may need Ectoplasm and Mogdrogen’s Pact Maxed)
Leveling with Storm Totem - Thermite Mine - Stormcaller’s Pact
With Savagery Line - Thermite Mine - Stormcaller’s Pact
Two Handed Primal Strike Line (LMB - Thunderous Strike activated) - Thermite Mine - Stormcaller’s Pact
Or you can experiment with Demolitionist skills too, just choose that suits your playstyle
In Closing :
Offensive Setup depends on Life Steal and Wendigo Totem for Survivabilty
Defensive Setup has Healing Rain from Tree of Life, but more less dps
You can change the Gear, Skills and Devotion setup as you like
You can also take Tree of Life’s Healing Rain via Solemn Watcher and Ulo path (you may have to sacrifice Viper constellation)
Elementalist has nice skills if we want to play with Fire and Lightning
Lightning Conjurer with CoF’s Vulnerabilty also an interesting build. Occultist has skills that boosting Attack Speed, Health Regen, OA, and Elemental RR
Maybe you should put HG in chests to cap cold and take BWC+HP so you could drop olerons blood and put something else in your weapon. Also going for more than 11/16 vindictive flame is giving diminishing returns and those points would do wonders for your survivalbility if putted in BS (8/10) and searing light.
Not sure if OP watches the thread or if maybe someone who knows, but i was wondering if i could get a grimcalc link or pic that has the talent setup without any +skills added.

Edit#2: One last thing the end build shows the use of daggers with high lightning dmg, should i be aiming for the same while leveling? Would daggers that show less/lower dps then say a sword or axe, but with +lightning %/Electrocute % be better?

Total noob question.
Why is FS considered much better for DW builds over Savagery?
I have played quite a bit of grim dawn pre-expansion,(No time to play, after the expansion came out) but never got down to doing a pure DW lightning Savagery build.
You would think Savagery is pretty awesome with +% bonuses to weapon,lightning and bleed on each hit no?. Plus it can trigger % skills that trigger off default attacks?
Really interested in your thoughts. Because post-expansion I have only been seeing a majority of Fire strike builds for Dual wield.
Savagery is main source of OA in Shaman Mastery also has Attack Speed bonus.
Fire Strike has no Attack Speed bonus, but you can take Vindictive Flame for Total Speed.
Also Fire Strike has Crit Damage for Melee Builds (Searing Strike/Might)
FS Brimstone is nice for mobs.
If you play Savagery Elementalist, you have double Attack Speed bonus from Storm Touched and Vindictive Flame.
It will sky rocket your dps
Now Elementalist has Two Sources for Fire/Lightning Elemental RR (Resistances Reduction) :
Wind Devil’s Raging Tempest + Thermite Mine
Combination of Both also will increasing your dps significantly !
