DW Pierce Melee Valdun Tactician

Yeah, that’s why I told in the beginning that this build is quite expensive and requires a lot of investment. It pays off, though.

RNG, correct. I already have a blueprint of it.

What nerf? Is this about Whirling Blades? If yes, then no, these builds do not rely on it.

Is there any specific method to farming equipment, or just kill the highest level boss enemies I can and hope for the best?

Basically, the later. If you have Crucible, it’s easier, but if not - just farm the Hives, it’s the most productive route, evidently.

can anyone explain this moment?

What’s to expain specifically? The conversion moment? This build uses multiply conversion from physical to pierce sources in order to bring pure pierce damage to the deal. And since we keep pumping it up, it’s quite high.

Just try to find information how can i make conversion from phys dmg to pierce

On weapons you should search for Armor Piercing ratio - that’s your conversion.
On armor and such, there’s usually a bonus, which says things like increases armor piercing.
There’s also Blades of Nanaan devotion.

thanks, man!

Is there a reason Blind Fury isn’t usable for the SnB build? I know it adds bleed and IT but won’t the constant procs help tremendously with the dps?

  1. Seal of Blades is getting nerfed, so there would be no constant procs with it, unfortunately.
  2. I was going for as pure pierce damage as possible, besides, if we take BF, we would have to give up some other devotions, and I wouldn’t touch Behemoth or Ghoul, considering how brutal the expansion is.

New and Improved Pierce Shield Build.

We lost damage, again, but gained a lot of resistances, including that juicy 50% physical resistance and excellent blocking.
I also included both Dryad and Giant’s Blood. Too bad we lost Ghoul, but what can you do.

And yes, it’s built through Warborn Set. Much more sturdier than Valdun.

Is there a reason for 8 points in break morale?

Well, of course. Since we already have enough Defence mechanisms around, lowering physical resistance and disrupting skills is much better than anything else.

I could indeed use more points in Squad Tactics, for example, but I feel the returns are too diminishing to use it effectively.

But isn’t the build doing mostly piercing damage? I’m talking about the dual wield melee one.

Ah, sorry.
It does, but disrupting skills still helps immensely. Also, I noticed they die a lot more quickly if you apply Break Morale on them with lowering physical resistance. I tested this in Elite, through the entire AoM, and in the beginning of Ultimate, it 100% works.
Not sure why is that with 100% conversion, but yeah. If you apply WoP along with BM, they practically melt in seconds…

Elite Grava’Thul completely annihilated. Facetanked everything, zero problems on DW Melee. Three kills in a row.

Now, onto Ultimate.

That screen looks a little inappropriate. It looks like he is spreading his legs after a bottle of wine:eek:

What the fuck, man.

He’s just resting after getting all the shit beat out of him.

How is DW melee doing in ultimate nemesis?
Have you tested it on cruci gladiator at max level after the patch?

Anyone have any information?

Would love to have some info on this build after patch!
