Easy way to break furniture?

This may seem like an stupid question but how do I break “breakable” furniture with a common attack?

I have found out that I can only hit that furniture when second ability is on cooldown. It seems quite wrong for me.

Also I have not been able to understand how “Move To breaks objects” work.

Please enlighten me…

afaik, “move to breaks objects” is only for doors and rubble that have a life bar and need to be destroyed to go through.

As for the furniture, you can use shift+LMB to force attack. That or do as I do and don’t touch the filthy LMB aside from picking up items or attacking through disruption, but use a hotkey instead. Can’t count the number of times crafting materials and potions almost killed me because they are prioritized over enemies when using LMB…

Thanks. Wasn’t aware of the shift-click option.

And yes loot tends to get in the way most of the time, specially when there are many enemies at once. Pretty annoying imho.

Make sure to use the loot filter to take out the white item drops early on eventually followed by yellow. Or you can completely turn off items and use the Z key to show them.

And when you Shift-click, do it on the ground just in front of the furniture to be sure you actually swing. Trying to force attack the furniture directly doesn’t work reliably!

yea, also using shift and LMB (where the main attack is)…
lazy Arcanists can also hit aoe skill

Thanks. SHIFT-LMB is working fine so far.

Have you guys noticed that certain skills can’t break crates or urns?
E.g. Devouring Swarm. My Conjurer has Devouring Swarm as a main attack and I have to use Sigil of Consumption to break crates?

It was a bit annoying at first, but it does make sense from the perspective of gameplay mechanics, since Devouring Swarm has only Vitality and Bleeding damage (crates and urns have neither life nor blood, lol)

I tend to break a lot of furniture when I try to play 3 man Crucibles and my FPS drops to 20 despite being on a brand new PC, if that helps.
