So I’ve been building my Inquisitor towards Elemental damage and am curious which devotions to go for been going for straight forward elemental (Either Going with Purifier or Tactician haven’t fully decided yet.) BUT know its an elemental damage build as I practically only know my way around vitality damage and even then the devotion’s are a bit intimidating ha ha but yeah what are the best Elemental damage devotions? For the record likely going 2h.
This is my setup for my Warder.
Crossroads A
Owl or Empty Throne depending on whether I want damage or resists.
Lizard
Tempest
Remove Crossroads A to Crossroads E
Scholar’s Light
Rhowan’s Crown
Amatok
Ghoul
Behemoth
Eel
Kraken (almost obligatory for two-handed toons)
Remove Crossroads E and P

Are attak seru and blind sage not worth going towards? Those were two I saw and thought of but didn’t see an easy path towards them nor that had much elemental damage.
Blind sage is definitely worth going for if you need a damage source. But it’s really only effective if you have 17% cooldown reduction or more (to lower the cooldown to <1s). So since you’re thinking of going 2hander, odds are you won’t have that much cooldown reduction. Only Runebinder’s Spellthrower (with a good roll) and Mythical Temporal Arcblade are 2handers with enough CD that also support elemental damage.
I wouldn’t know, I’ve never used them.
It’s not the only possibility. If you want more fire you can work towards Magi and Torch, maybe get Widow though that’s in a different direction. Spear of Heaven is another you could aim for.

Personally I think sage is awesome when on a character with high elemental damage/-rr
The devotion setup i use in this build http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70221 is pretty solid. Torch can be finished as well if meteors are preferred.
Well one a positive note chose which class to go with finally =P Went Purifier that 1.2 recharge doesn’t SOUND so bad on it though am going to have to first go towards Kraken as I will be using 2h either Melee or Ranged not entirely sure yet though knowing me I’ll probably go Melee.
Well, if going ranged you could always try for Hydra. Whether that would make it easier to get Attack Seru and/or Blind Sage I don’t know without looking at grimtools.
When you say elemental do you mean tri-elemental, or mono-elemental (fire or cold or lightning specific) as the answer to your question depends almost entirely on the answer.
For 2 handed kraken is better than any of them. Both seekers and attak seru are only really worth going for if you have lots (as in an average value of 1800% minimum by lvl 100) into all 3 elements. Otherwise you’d be far better served going towards elemental specific procs like meteor shower or ultos.
And seekers is vastly better than attak seru fyi. Also don’t forget elemental storm no matter what (unless using bwc for resist reduction)
