Endgame capable build with 1-2 skills, the rest passive auras/buffs - is there such thing?

Depends on what you like to play. Maya’s done plenty of pet builds that have done it.

How many buttons are you prepaired to tolerate?

GD has plenty of builds that only use like 3-4 buttons.

Also do you classify long buffs like Blood of Dreeg or Word of Renewal as extra buttons?

Primal Strike Warder, Ranged Purifier, FW or Cadence Tactician, e.g - all have little number of buttons.

  1. PS Warder - PS, Savagery for buff, Wind Devil, War Cry, Wendigo Totem maybe. 4-5 buttons.

  2. FS Purifier - FS, Thermites, Seal, WoR, maybe Flashbang, maybe Horn. 4-6 buttons.

  3. FW Tactician - FW, Warcry, Seal, WoR, maybe Horn - 4-5 buttons.

Edit: oh, and I forgot mobility skills, +1 to each.

Then your options are really narrow. It’s not impossible - I’ve done such builds for lulz, but they basically end up being beefy tanks that take a while to kill shit.

Belgothian Blademaster. Auto attack, Shadow Strike and heal. Ring of Steal or War Cry can help defensively, but can be skipped. Melee Cadence Tactician, Cadence, heal, seal and maybe Pain for procing. Anyway most of the builds required at least 4 active skills.

Of course except pets and maybe Retal.

I used to have a Purifier. Do you know a build that is up-to-date?

No, I don’t.
Builders don’t look favourably on ranged playstyle at the moment.

Proper retal build is a huge piano excercise because how many debuffs and actives you need to place.
