Enemies' Nullification spell shouldn't work on permanent buffs

The Nullification/dispel skill that enemies use should not be able to disable permanent buffs or auras such as Mogdrogen’s Pact, since re-casting such skills is awfully annoying when there are multiple of them and they are on the secondary skill bar.

This has made Shattered Realm a frustrating experience. I was just dispelled about 3 times in 10 minutes, which is very aggravating and unfun.

So it basically should be removed in general, because there’s plenty of builds that do not have temporary buffs.

Crate doesn’t care, btw, Nullify will stay as is. It’s easy as fuck to dodge too, Arcanes die before they even cast it (they use it after 9 - 12 seconds in battle).

I dream of the day when Nullification casted by enemies simply disable your permanent buffs for a couple of seconds without you having to recast them, but until that… I never really had a problem dealing with Arcane enemies or Grava’Thul. The nullification orb they cast is painfully slow and obvious and Arcane enemies are easily distinguishable by their blue/purple tint, even in a big crowd.

iirc, arcane enemies are more likely to cast their dispel orb when you’re quite far from them. i’ve baited them plenty of times into using dispel early and immediately destroy them after that. dealing with arcane enemies & gra’va is a matter of keeping extra attention on them and roughly timing their dispel’s cd, and baiting them into casting it while you’re in position to evade them dispels. if its just a weak arcane enemies however, just destroy it the 1st time you see it (bad idea if its surrounded by more dangerous enemies). anyway, watch em purples, bait those dispels, then ruin their bodies.

I really like dispel mechanics from arcane heroes.
It make you think and act more tactically, and not full-time facetank everything
Actually, I dream about that times when Crate add more similar mechanics (pool on ground/some good telegraphed aoe that really hurts you or kill on one place)

That’s very far from true in SR, especially at high SR level. Maybe, some glasscannon builds are capable of killing most Arcanes before they cast, but even then, some tough ones might survive long enough and there is no way you can tracj their Nullification when fighting a horde of enemies. And for more balanced builds with less burst DPS, on high SR, Arcane heroes are capable to cast Nullification on regular basis.
Sure, in normal campain those mobs are acceptable, but not in SR.

Gravathul is another matter. He’s big & his cast is clearly noticeable. You also can notice him on minimap and avoid facing him (except for boss room - and in boss room there are no trash).

SR 83 experience:
Retaliation DE, stood in one place facetanking everything, nullify effectively removed 10 - 15% of my overall defense, could dodge every nullify I saw (unless I confused an arcane with a lightning hero). It’s not that hard in high SR, if you’re playing stupidly, it is, if you’re using your brain you sometimes do not even have to try to dodge it even if you stay in place facetaking stuff. It’s all about how the player plays it, not how the mechanic works.

@USER_NAME_01 you are a GOD

If using brain and eyes is being a god, then this planet must be full of gods. :thinking:
