Now I hesitate to report this bug, since quite frankly it has made the game much better for me, but apparently my villagers no longer require entertainment. As you can see, my town is Tier 3, I have a theatre and have the ability to build a brewery and pubs, yet entertainment is not even listed as a basic need. They don’t care at all. (Of course if you see my other thread about my villagers having 20 babies a year, then it implies they have found ‘other’ entertainment…)
What this means is that my villagers are almost always very happy since entertainment is usually a big drawback. This also means I have no need to build a brewery or pubs (outside of desirability) which I am happy about since the pub is more a negative value building than a positive one (but that is a different topic).
I realize that the entertainment function was not working well as it always showed at around 60%, but I don’t recall seeing any mention that it was being taken out to be reworked, so I figure it must be a bug.
