EoR Archon 2H build

Like this perhaps: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/RZR5PjrV

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/0V0XJ7oV

this is a similar build on the compendium (drakans eye of the storm build)

i would have a look at the devotions on this, yours are similar, but he has taken things like bat, for heals.

@Akillon I wouldn’t take savagery, as using it for a buff would completely destroy the flow of an EoR build,
and im not sure if i would take grasping vines. these points can go into haven and vires might to lower cooldown and proc devotions. - BTW whats the rationale for hungering void? DG is good for OA but i assume you are using the proc for speed and %crit?

@Cam-Shron_Duine I think Savagery is a must. You need OA to proc Hand of Ultos, and the attack speed is nice too. Savagery upkeep is pretty minimal. Dying God proc is for %crit and speed. Grasping Vines can be switched out for Guardian of Empyrion, but you can’t proc Raise the Dead or Arcane Bomb from it.

i think part of the issue with savagery is that you have to stop spinning, which loses the damage reduction from spinning.

the points can be used for more mobility and health, and maybe items or augments for oa fixing

I doubt you can make it work, but am not against being surprised.

i changed out two of the ring augments (sacrificing bleed overcap) and now we have 2900 OA without ascension, vires might as a good procer (some points could be removed). invested in haven and resilience.

probably worse at proccing revanent and DG, but doable and now includes bat on EoR (EDIT:at the expense of solemn watcher)for even more healing.

EDIT: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/a2d4B752 here is version 2 where i made the DA playable again. squeezing devotions for all they’re worth.

Tenacity of the Boar also provides slow res, which your second link’s build lacks completely. I would also drop Vire’s Might for Judgement to compensate for Savagery OA loss.

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/qNY5pzlN

i dropped ultos for 43% slow res and bit more phys res. - edit: also removes need to constantly crit.

it is a shame, but the RR is covered by viper and i think slow res is worth it.

judgement adds ~270 effective OA to help to cit bosses etc, thanks for the suggestion.

Viper only does 20% RR for 100% weapon damage, so in this case it’s only ~7%. Or am I wrong in this?

i believe viper and ultos debuff enemies for a duration and they don’t stack. i dont think %WD matters.

i’m no expert though.

I’m pretty sure %WD matters for Viper RR. Since EoR only has 35% WD it only has around 1/3 of the effect.

well im not sure, it says “20% reduced target’s elemental resistances for 3 seconds”

this implies that %WD doesnt matter and im not sure why it would. EDIT: searched it up, you are right it would seem - now the question is whether ultos rr applies to EoR attacks?

now to keep slow res, ultos vs DG??

on a side note i think its worth it to loose cunning points and pump physique for DA, leaves you with 3400 effective OA still and ups DA https://www.grimtools.com/calc/YVWzwy72

This comment by Norzan confirms it: Viper, resistance reduced. I don’t think it works the same way for Ultos.

idk if ultos applies just to the ultos damage or EoR too though?

to get Ultos we might have to drop DG (to keep slow res.)
https://www.grimtools.com/calc/4NOJLgaZ

I would probably do it like this then: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/p257aKxZ. Still, I don’t think this is worth it over just having to click every once in a while to keep Savagery up.

the biggest issue with savagry is the need to do it when you engage for 2-4 seconds (to get 6 stacks so you dont stop in the middle of spinning to get more), which leaves you
a) vulnerable (not damage reduction)
b) not dealing much damage (no leech)
c) not triggering bat

EDIT:
your spec there improves a lot on slow res and keeps DG and Ultos. seems quite good. i’m not experienced enough to tell if losing 50% (edit:30% really) disrupt res it worth it though, seems a bit more risky. idk.

EDIT 2:
https://www.grimtools.com/calc/4VxlrdaV - this spec keeps disrupt res. stun res suffers when ascention is not up though. idk if this is any better really

You could do it like this: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/r2B18OkN, craft the helmet for stun res and you’re pretty much covered.

yeah, that’s probably the best so far.

just curious, how much stun res does the craft bonus give?

Inbetween 4% and 12% depending on rolls I believe.

I already kind of did it. I hope this gives you some ideas
