I can’t upload images, so it’s hard for me to describe it to you.
well it just says “increased chance” no idea what that is 10% more or 50% more who knows
I would prefer if these systems didn’t alter significantly the drop mechanisms in the game and their effects only became noticeable after a large number of trials.
As far as I’m concerned they shouldn’t even exist. They are a rabbit hole. But nobody ever asks me nothin’…
Can’t you write something in your native language and translate to english?
I think it’s fine to have some greater chance to drop, say, cold affixes if that’s what you want. I think the effect should be noticeable but not overwhelming.
I get that randomness is fine, but there should be a cap. That cap is what we call the pity system.
They should have that in Las Vegas too!
IT WORKS

If you seriously mean that you do not get more bleeding damage drops with altar activated, perhaps your game is bugged
That would change the whole psychology of RNG in - I think - a bad way.
It would remove the thrill that “maybe this time!!!” feeling
How can I explain this? It’s not cheating. The idea is that when rerolling equipment fails to produce the affix you want, the drop rate of that specific affix for this piece of equipment should be increased. That’s exactly what I mean. If this system is implemented, I would actively farm plenty of base items.
Yeah imagine having the game reading our minds
it kinda feels like it sometimes
It’s not about related affixes at all!
I tested this, works fine. You have comments on my findings?
and come on, I have seen the builds you post they have way more and better green items and ascendent affixes than what I have and I play about 8h/day never complaining ![]()
Here’s the translation, maintaining your tone and consistent gaming terminology:
Think of it like gambling in Las Vegas where the minimum bet is $10. That $10 is your principal — equivalent to your base item. You also have an extra $1 million in spare funds. Once you lose all that $1 million, the pity system kicks in and boosts your chances of winning with that original $10! Do you get what I’m saying? The reality right now is I can’t even win anything with that $10.
That is not in line with what was written in the first post
The translation isn’t correct. What I mean is increasing the drop rate of equipment with the exact same affix.
As you know, Chinese relies heavily on conveying ideas through meaning, while English is a phonetic language. Sometimes I have to spend ages figuring out how to phrase things properly in translation. Minor simplifications can completely shift the original meaning. Plus, this translation tool isn’t reliable.
I completely understand the frustration of burning through all your materials after 100+ failed rolls (we’ve all been there), but I strongly disagree that the game needs a pity system. Adding one would strip away the strategy and depth of item hunting.
Instead of mindlessly dumping materials into a single item, you can heavily tilt the odds in your favor with a smart farming and rolling strategy. Here is the approach I use, which recently got me items like Impervious Ascended Vestment of Shattered Reality and Formidable Bysmiel Legguards of Vitality within just about 8 hours of targeted farming:
Target the right bases: Focus only on rare and magic combinations where you can realistically control the outcome.
Avoid bloated affix pools: Steer clear of slots with massive pools (like chest pieces cluttered with class combos like Mage Hunter, Purifier, etc.). Whenever possible, aim for setups where you rely on a magic prefix and a rare suffix (or vice versa) to keep the pool small.
Keep the pool manageable: If done right, you should aim for a maximum of around 40 possible affixes at the highest tier.
The “Reroll & Sell” Rule (Magic Affix): Once you have your base item, check if the magic affix (if any) is at the right position and the other affix is rare. This has roughly a 45% chance of happening (excluding double-rares or pure magic clutter). Roll that specific magic affix exactly once. If it doesn’t hit what you want: sell the item. This drastically cuts down material waste and effectively doubles your odds on fresh bases.
Controlled Rerolling (Rare Affix): If you hit the correct magic affix, limit your rare affix rerolls to a maximum of 10 times (or 9 if step 4 already led to a partial success). With a pool of ~40 rare affixes, this gives you roughly a 25% chance of success. If it fails, sell it and move on to a fresh farmed base. I used the rare affix for the massive rerolling, because it can`t upgrade like the magic affixes. It will always be another rare.
Yes, this still takes effort, game knowledge, and active farming.
The core problem is that base items barely drop. We can’t use white gear as bases, right? Doesn’t the base need to come with at least one desired affix? Otherwise, I’d have to reroll both the prefix and suffix.
