im level 70 and just got to fort ikon on my conjourer using mainlly primal strike and bloody pox with both totems
and i was wondering what equipment (mainly weapon) to go for to push through into ultimate
i dont knownames or sets so any advice as to what and how would be apriciated

Search for the guides with the same class you are using and one of them bound to have leveling section with easy equipment to get.

Best to become acquainted with this site - it’s incredibly useful and you’ll most likely find everything your looking for. The hard part is finding the item(s) in game, especially legendary and rare green items with specific prefixes and suffixes.
