Eternal Spring - Pet Conjurer

Changes to the purpose of the thread. Just going to use it as a personal theorycrafting grounds. The builds will probably end up here

Here’s to hoping Sands performs well as an offensive devotion. Should be the only thing potentially limiting these builds.

Also totally missed those rings while scrolling through the items. Might have to try them too, really good rings for faction items.

Aye. I also like that you can go for Ishtak, Oleron and the Sand thing at once although at the expense of Tree. No 62% phys.res or Crab here, so I am worried about defense, but thematically atleast it sounds nice.

Now to wait for the release…

I like the version with Oleron considerably more as we are full physical/pierce now and three Tier-3 constellations
are very good.

I would personally go for Empty Throne instead of Owl (pierce, aether, chaos for me + pets + 15% stun res against 15 DA, 8% ele res which is overcapped already and -5% skill cost).

Need to see, however, how it performs in Crucible and Shattered Realm (i.e. if we are going to miss the healing from Tree of Life).

Edit: Since we don’t use two birds now, do we actually need Mythical Voidmancer Cord? It’s a shame Crate did not att +1 to Shaman on Mythical Shadowfiend Cord, however i believe this belt is better now. What do you think?

There is Bysmiel Grasp with +2 to Briarthorn and 100% physical converted to cold for Briarthorn.

what do you think? New boots (as old ones got thorn apart :D), by the way.

Question with Belt remains (Mythical Shadowfiend Belt vs Mythical Voidmancer Cord).

Possibly option C

because I don’t know about you but after what some Titan Quest bosses did to pets, the fact that 100% mind control resist is now an option scares me.

Yes. Lind, it’s nice option which i have overlooked!

need to see if this Mind Control of pets can be a real danger.

Regarding Cold Briarthorns here is my revised idea (added Murmur for cold RR):

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/eZPWMQPV

What i don’t like is that damage of Primal Spirit is somehow lost as there is no physical RR here.

Maybe “all physical” with Oleron, Azraaka + Ishtak as per Maya initial build is still a better set-up after all.

Yeah, belt is getting changed. Shadowfiend’s looks better, but I am assuming that the MC resist on Nosferratis isn’t just for show. But if MC isn’t a threat, then Shadowfiend’s does look like the best choice.

Fiendflesh’s Dmg absorption works against all dmg while Deathwalker’s is only against Vitality/Bleeding. So I will be sticking with the old ones.

As for the cold setup, I kind of want to see how Azraaka performs. But do have something in mind for the Winter version :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m guessing the Mind Control thing for pets is related to the secret boss. I can’t imagine it’s necessary for anything that isn’t a secret boss, given it’s only available on like, 2 items. That would be awful.

I’ll be really sad if my 340k kill 6 days playtime cabalist dies to something like that in HC D:

For cold setup, I really wish that item had conversion to primal spirit too :\ Or that Winter King didn’t take the helmet slot.

Yes, if this Scepter converts all physical damage to cold for old pets, it would be really nice for Chillmane + Primal Spirit.

Asked for +1 to Shaman skills on Mythical Shadowfiend Cord, got reply it is not needed

Will ask for this one now:)

What’s the purpose behind the weapon and the rings?

I can’t imagine a pet build with only 1 damaging proc could be good or fun to play. Just my opinion.

That belt. I’m guessing the bleed > shadowfiend?

The rings + weapon lets us Max Briarthorns.

And my previous Ishtak based pet builds did not have any dmg procs for pets outside of Ele.Storm :stuck_out_tongue:

As for the belt, I am more concerned about that MindControl resistance. The flat Bleed dmg is nice too though.

Damn, I am updating a build that isn’t out yet… The wait is real.

Ok… updated both builds. Now Seal of Mights are back in and you still get a moderately powerful birb.
Weapon was also changed for that -15% ele RR, but you can go with whatever you want (Malmouth Stormcaster was the previous choice)

Added Ghol set variation. Hopefully the new pet makes up for lost Briarbutt.

Actually, why always Eye of Cataclysm? Only because of the +Skills?

And the stun and chaos res. My other choice would probably be a perfectly rolled double rare bound wraith, but trying to make the builds easy to get for the non GDStashers :stuck_out_tongue:

When fg comes out and is updated with gdstash are you going to make and test all the builds first or play the story first?
