Long story short, had never made a blademaster until about a month ago. I was pretty adamant not following any existing guides to make my own BM, since i wanted to add my own signature to the long line of BMs
I did end up asking for JoV and Superfluff for guidance and at the end of the day i realized using Cadence or Deathmarked set appeared to be only options. Pure WPS BM just isn’t strong enough it seems
So i shelved the BM till i got any new ideas
When i did Valbury on its release i got a Plaguebearer Cleaver of Fury. I got the idea of making a pure physical Cadence BM, but soon realized Commando and Witchblade will be better options.
My question is simple, is there any point of going pure physical Cadence BM or would it be just a gimmick and i am wasting the synergy’s true potential?
lol i have pure physical cadence bmaster , which pretty much killed +200 fabius without losing %10 hp in all 200 runs… 10 to 15 secs max.
class combo is just so goddamn strong, trust me you can kill any bosses and do whatever you wantincluding johny guy + mad queen with just all RAREs…
a class has access too,
pburst which is prolly best skill in the game
200 aspeed with zero effort
+2.5 to 3.8k OA with min to bis gear
+10-16k hp
+100k cadence dps with medicore gear
can get %100 block recovery easily with overguard upto +4k shield dmg block
-1.4 to 2.2k armor easy
2k to 2.3k DA easy
tons of dodge and deflect not even funny with decent setup
can get +30 physical resistance eyes closed
min 500 to 900 base hp regen, +1.5k with procs
easy %50 fumble with CoS which is huge
damage to humans advantage and tons of cunning
reducing enemy OA so hard, slowing enemy so hard
can access to reduce enemy DA with blitz + -%da with blade trap
prolly going olerons constellation so -280 enemy armor shred
2 mobility skills for super duper speed farm
dont wanna list some soldier benefits list goes on… bmasters are tankier than commandos and can race with witchblades for number 1positionall around bmaster has better defensive lineup imo. for sure damage output gonna be a bit lower but last time i checked i had more OA + more sheet dps than most guides written here and i just have decent gear no crazy mi’s or broken things.
well dw pure physical prolly gonna perform abit worse than pierce, due to nature of combination and easiest RR access in gamenights chill, i mean sure its gonna be brute forcing whole content like no tomorrow but still pierce is better in the end.
i expect %20-30 effectiveness loss at the end, which is perfectly fine to me… it will be like
15 sec kill to 20 sec one , 200k dps to 150k-180k dps one
Will give it 2 more seconds because my targo’s hammer wasn’t maxed and even round it up so it’s 20 seconds (his blade barriers already subtracted) by assuming his would be more tweaked since i only played it 20 minutes. 20 seconds is ok, ~3 secs faster than my commando which is perfectly fine with maxed Anatomy doing the work:)
Used Vanguard instead of sigebreaker because too lazy to tweak resists now.
well i was just listing things what bm can do, didnt know he was asking only dual wield… 10-15 sec fabius kill with s&b might be possible but didnt reach that amount yet maybe didnt bother with it so much is reason… for dw bmaster for sure can do it around 10-12 sec np…
i never wanted to say this but my venomblade wh kinda always kill fabius around 7-9 secsnot even 10 and pls dont make me record video or write mini guide super busy with lvling 2 chars at the same timewhile working like a slave :o its project for next month maybe
he is missing 4-5 piece of gear as far as i remember, my other chars are using them. and since i am moving new flat, i dont think i will have enough time to play GD next week/1.5 weeks. thats the main reason i said ‘next month’
and i never bothered with dummy kill things, and it was even 1.06 without buffed merciless repertoire… i might write guide and prove video if i have time these days. no reason to lie tho;)
i have super limited time to play gd and all i want to do is leveling my melee dual wield + TSS hybrid charzero legendary project which i am enjoying sooooooooooooo much now prolly gonna start ultimate soon
No one is calling you a liar. It’s just that it’s pretty easy to perceive kill times incorrectly. You might think it went in 10 sec when in reality it could’ve been more.
Good to see you’re still willing to try melee+caster hybrid. Zero legendary maybe a bit too much unless you have some crazy ass MIs
its pretty clean under 10 sec runs i am talking about many of them +50 runs. i played that char enough and moved on, never play chars too long in gd yet and i dont think i will… set your goal, achieve and move on is my gd playstyle atm, lack of end game effects me i guess. thats why i lvl chars only skills that i plan to use aswell, gd is all about lvling and reaching some end game goals for me.
well its simple venomblade build, i dont think i was using venomblade macewtf is mace with pierce mod on nightblade set anyway ??? mq claw + vb set and some decent gear… its all about concept, go full yolo pierce, since set converts it already and nhh… easy ±100RR for both acid&pierce.
and set is one of strongest set in game already with warborn and ultos.
w/e prolly next month i can write mini guide.
na i stick with my plan, melee + caster hybrid and no legendary items… even finished elite selfound, no component muling etc… i am so low lvl to start ultimate59 so i am lvling on elite a bit and farming rep for faction augments and gear. lets seee.
