Explain "Fevered Rage" to me please

Started playing around with a Vitality/ADCTH Cabalist and Fevered Rage is kind of weird. It’s too much damage on low-hp trash (i.e. one shots them before it can spread), and makes champs too scary. Is it viable or best left ignored?

On the same note, which of the modifiers listed on the skill apply to you, and which to the enemy? What does “progress more rapidly” mean? I can clearly see the 150% total speed boost on enemies, but does it also tick faster for you or no? A bit confused by the skill description.

It’s great for leveling. The extra % hp dmg eats trash. The bleed/Flat dmg is aided by that 40% total damage even more. You also crit them because their DA is debuffed.

Try Using CoF + Fevered rage to compensate for the scary stuff that rushes you;) The rest is good kiting.

You can bind bat constellation to Pox too so that you will damage them and get lots of life back in case you get hit.

It can be used end game as well but you need a really good and thought out setup to make it.

Fevered Rage in a nutshell

It should spread from corpses, but if you have Gore on in options then quite often an enemy killed with Pox won’t leave a corpse.

Yep pox gameplay requires you to disable gore because if you do enough dmg with one tick of pox the enemy will gib and pox won’t spread

omg, didn’t even know about the corpse issue, that was educational

Has anyone done a non tanky build with fevered rage yet? I was thinking of seeing if it works based on this bleed Conjurer I came up with. https://www.grimtools.com/calc/q2mKd1rZ

I’m actually doing that now as I was thinking the same a few days ago.

If by non-tanky you mean non retaliation then there’s one for pre AoM by ForgottenKane. It’s hardcore too. You can probably adjust this for current version.
