Exploding corpses

I find it rather silly that a seemingly visual only option in the options menue actually affects gameplay. Rather devastatingly actually.

If you ever play an Occultist using Bloody Pox well have fun with never ever spreading anything because shits just exploding instantly. But wait… that didn’t happen when I had less damage right? Even if the enemy died before spreading it would leave a corpse behind that spreads the disease. Now that WOULD be a great feature if exploding enemies wouldn’t prevent that from happening. Simply turning off the gore option will fix it but it just seems silly to me.

Any thoughts?
