I have an extravagant small park in the middle of houses, but none of them are picking it up in the desirability calculation. They’re not even picking up another small park that is further away now. See screenshot below - directly behind the highlighted house is the extravagant small park. It’s hard to see under the iron deposit.
Small and Large parks do not stack.
So having any large park will override all other parks at all?
It depends on the relative distance of each. Small Parks naturally provide less desirability, but can be more effective on shelters immediately nearby if the Large Park is far away.
