Fallout 4 - after being patched

Prepurchased Fallout 4.

Played it about 8 hours.

Hated it. Poor FPS. Hated settlements. Did my best to like it. Hated the dialogue and how you’re forced into having a baby and a wife/husband.

And now, I’ve done a 180. I am addicted to this game after the patching. Totally addicted.

As bad as I was with Grim Dawn.

If anybody has tried it, hated it and dropped it, I urge you to give it a go again ESPECIALLY with the Automatron DLC…It’s an excellent and intriguing quest line with amazing rewards, and building your own robot and customizing it to your tastes could be a game in and of itself.

I have built an army of robots at my settlements that just decimate the shit out of any attackers, and with this DLC you can legit be a “pet” based support build that lets your robot do the fighting - and holy shit, it can fight.

Do it.

I may or may not have played 48 hours in the first week it came out. I played it a lot. Went back for Automatron and played many more.

I expect more hours of my life to disappear when Far Harbor comes out.

Interesting, i just read the 1.5 patch information and it seems like it could be promising.

I liked FO4 but, it just didn’t feel like a FO game to me. Kind of too mainstream i guess, not to sure the word i need here but whatever. After 1 play through i had to put it down. :undecided:

I’m still going to have to search through the nexus to find some mods, because i honestly cant deal with some of the things in game that i know haven’t changed.

After i find the right mods i will try out the patched version. Hopefully i will enjoy it a lot more

You can’t really cure stupidity though, dialogue and writing will be terrible no matter what patch or mod you apply

Is there ANY game you like, at all?

Seriously. You spend so much time shooting down games people like on these forums.

Maybe when they let me play at 144+ FPS without fucking the physics up. God I regret buying that game.

I think he just hates Bethesda.

Which is funny, because Bethesda doesn’t make games. They publish them.

Bethesda doesn’t make games? Wherever did you get that notion? They both develop and publish them.

Well, yes and no. There are two companies owned by Zenimax. I stand corrected.

Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks.

Former develops. Latter publishes.
