Hi I tried a search but couldn’t find what I was looking for so sorry if I am adding another thread asked before!
I have noticed that dynamite is quite useful. For example I need it to open certain areas. And you can even have a chest locked that needs TNT or dynamite to ‘open’.
So the thought came to me to farm it. I know that Conleys hideout and the mines in that area can have dynamite and dynamite can drop inside those. I also have read that it can even drop as a random drop in act1 normal but that (the guide said) is very rare.
So my question is are there other good areas to farm dynamite than Conleys and the surrounding area? The reason I ask is that I am already 37 level so I think those areas I can’t kill two or three birds with one stone and farm: items I use this play through, experience points, and reputation.
Summary: 1 Conleys is good area to farm dynamite in Normal mode but are there other areas to reliably farm dynamite for a high level character so they can also loot hunt, xp, and reputation hunt?
Dynamite best spot is probly Cronley hideout and the small cave with Helion (might mispelled the name the guy with the rat) you should get 4 from those two every run. Also if you take your time you should be able to get 2 or maybe even 3 (if lucky) bounties.
So sounds like the answer is to farm Cronley? And you can add to your bonus by taking bounties?
Probably if I make another character and make a run through the game I will stop and farm for a bunch of dynamite before leveling up on more content. This character I have now is already 37th level I think, but I can still just grind through and might be relaxing with a high level character. Sounds like there isn’t a reliable dynamite spot beyond Cronley though?
And I’m not sure if I’ve run into Helion. Which area is he? In the Cronley cave?
Did you mean a smith (Duncan or Angrim) in Devil’s Crossing? Or is this something that unlocks in Homestead? I played through once Normal (post release) but there might have been changes since then. I’m slowly reading the wiki content of quests (to make sure I don’t miss any important ones) and probably can figure out if there is an unlocking quest in Homestead to unlock this later on.
