Where are some good places to pick it up?
Staunton Mine always has it, Cronley’s Hideout and you can make it at the blacksmith at Homestead.
Crafting. Port Valbury runs for the reagents.
If you’re lazy like I am sometimes, Isaiah Reddan will commonly sell Scrap, Scavenged Plating and Searing Ember fragments (as well as Polished Emerald/Chilled Steel/Cracked Lodestone fragments for turning those into a few more Searing Ember).
On startup in Homestead, you spawn next to him so his inventory can be cleared quickly every session.
TY. I just tested this out. I thought there was a recipe for dynamite.
Anything with Cronley’s gang, since arsonists have a not-insignificant chance to drop it and so do the scrap piles. Cronley’s mine has 2 guaranteed dynamite, usually about 3-4. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, the burning cellar in Valbury outskirts has 1 guaranteed spawn, and Fort Haron has 2.

My favorite way of farming is doing a Four Hills, Stanton Mine & Cronley’s Hideout run. Just optimize it to your own liking, if done before a rogue dungeon run you’ll usually end up with a net amount of 2-4 dynamite per reset.

There is always a dynamite stick back behind the buildings in Darkvale.
It would seem a bit out of the way, but Dark Vale always has a locked chest, (and that’s why they stuck a dynamite there, I suppose).
It’s a good and fast farm run for this chest, Chthonic Seal of Bindings, and the boss can have some fair drops too.
Ummm…but if you open the chest you don’t gain dynamite.
Hmmm. The rare materials vendor in the Malmouth steel district will often have an Aether Shard for sale, which a smith can turn into 3 dynamite. You could theoretically go back and forth to refresh. This is not farming, though, and it’s near the end of AoM.
I think the fastest farm run is just to go Homestead to Conflgruation and gather single crystals. Usually works out to ~ 6 sticks per run or more.
IMO, Conflagration is the best place for it, hands down. 2 Dynamites at the end plus tonns of Aether crystals and other mats on the way that you need for crafting dynamite.
