Farming post release

I have just returned to this game post release, and it seems to me that a fair few crops are reduce field fertility by quite a bit more than they used to - Carrots and turnips, for instance, are up from -2% to -3% and flax is now at -5% - researching the Sustainable farming tech does not seem to have had any impact (or at least none that shows up anyway)

I assume that in the long run, I will be able to off set the ‘fertility deficit’ through composting - But is farming being harder on the field fertility just the new baseline?

I think a big part of the nerfs to farming, as well as in other things, is to then bring in the Techs to undo those nerfs. I’ve found that taking all points in these Techs have led to a small buff overall compared to pre-release

Well, that’s heartening to learn - I figured that something like that was what was going on.

It’s unfortunate that the information on the fertility usage doesn’t update with the techs.
