No, since you can’t unlock campaign difficulties by playing Crucible.

Fastest way to level to ultimate is to rush and kill Loghorrean as soon as you can in both normal and elite. If you already have a character that has unlocked Ultimate difficulty, you can buy the difficulty merit token thingys, put them in transfer stash and then have your other characters use it to instantly get to ultimate, even on lvl 1.

I tried starting ultimate at lvl 1, it’s a no go. The tokens make the job of going through normal and elite much easier but it’s still annoying. Was hoping for a faster way to get to 90 to start ultimate and not waste the one shot chests.

The fastest way if you don’t skip difficulties is to rush main quest and play in Bastion of chaos,not to be under leveled.Potion of clarity and Lokkar set are must.

So, the fastest way to get to lvl 90 then?

Probably Lokarr set + Potion of Clarity and doing quests in Ultimate. If you have someone you can party up with, then that should also help level up your character faster.

I write so slow,that’s my first time I beat someone to the punch:D.Crucible early on will give the advantage of having damaging constellation unlocked early on.At level 30 ,though you rarely find that good of a gear and progress is slow.I think with potion and set,rushing you can level1-94,when you can equip legendary items in 10-12 hours

How i leveled my last 2 chars in FG:

  • Potion of XP + Lokarr set from lvl 1
  • Use Token for Ultimate to get the bags/skill points/portals enabled in Normal/Elite
  • Do a few rounds of waves 1-30 in Crucible - you can get to around lvl 25-28 in 30 or so minutes and get 5-6 affinity points
  • Twink your char with low level epics from your collection
  • Rift jump all the Devotion shrines which are easily accessible - like 85% of them. You can do that in both Normal and Elite. FYI i managed to get all 55 points within less than 1 hour before i went to Ulti.
  • Go to Bastion of Chaos and do 2 full runs - would be enough to get you to lvl 50 or so. You can mix the runs with Shrine hunting.
  • Once lvl 50 equip your Legendaries of choice/continue twinking with what you have
  • Start fresh on Ultimate and do all quests
  • you can hit lvl 94 in around 8 hours or so if you dont waste much time here and there

All in all its much less boring to level a new char with the Tokens vs pre-FG times. While you cannot start Ultimate at least before lvl 30+ (depending on build) you can very quickly play everywhere in the game world due to having all rifts opened - doing few quick rogue dungeon clears with all the XP bonuses levels you up very quickly.

Use token and get to lvl 40 in like 15 min and just keep leveling. It slows down at some point but you save so mich time

How to get to level 14 or 15 in an instant, if you have access to a Merit:

  • collect lore notes on Normal or Elite from Coven, Barrowholm (two each) and Conclave of the Three (don’t forget the hidden cellar behind the Dreeg quartermaster)
  • use them with an XP potion (and Lokarr’s or Gazer wear if possible).

This makes the start in Crucible for extra devotion points or the first quests on Ultimate much easier. If you don’t have Lokarr’s set you can equip Helm and Boots from the Explorer’s set right away for extra xp and speed.

If you have a friend that is High Level let him Carry you through the first act 1 ultimate Quests (Burial Hill, and the Sillitih Quest after that) with the shrines you can pick up on the way you will be level 30ish in less then 10 minutes. After that just Riftgate Jump to all easy shrines in Normal and Elite, get 55 Devotion Points in less then an hour (with EXP Pot and Lokarr Set or Gazerman you now should be around level 40). Farm Steps of Torment or Bastion of Chaos to level 50 and then start your grind in ultimate with level 50 Legendarys (if you have some). With EXP Pots it shouldnt take you that long to get to 94.

Frankly, with the amount of shrines in Ultimate now, I don’t even bother to take all shrines in Normal/Elite.
