POST PATCH 1.0.4.0 SUGGESTIONS
After the recent patch it’s obvious you guys want Chaos based Necros
If that is the case then
-Add 100% Aether to Chaos to Drain Essence to full set bonus
-Move Ill Omen’s Chaos Resist bonus to final set bonus and increase it’s value
-Add 100% Aether to Chaos to Reap Spirit to full set bonus (yeah yeah, I am aware of Fiendgaze Tome)
You will add to a lot of build diversity this way. Otherwise in its current state Necro Bonuses on Black Flame set look as good as Blade Trap bonuses on The Clairvoyant Set
PREVIOUS SUGGESTIONS-
[spoiler]Problems:
1. Ritual Circle-
The mythical version only adds 3% Casting Speed, 3% Physical Resistance and Increases Total Modified percentage value by 2 and increases the energy cost by 20
I would suggest to instead revert to the old bonuses and increases duration of the circle by 3-4 seconds. To compensate increase the energy cost by 40-50
2. Skill mods-
I won’t ask for 100% Piercing, ADCtH, Fumble Chance or %Weapon Damage as other lasers have those. It seems you guys intended AAR as a single target skill and want to keep it unique.
So the skill mod suggestion is related to Sigil of Consumption as the set does seem to support Sigil’s usage.
I suggest adding a skill mod for set completion that gives Sigil 8-9% ADCtH and as per Avyctes suggestion turn the fire damage on Destruction into vitality/chaos.
On the Black Flame Dagger I’d suggest another 40% Fire to Chaos Skill mod for AAR. Focusing the damage type into Chaos/Vitality would do wonders for Tainted Power. In its current state Tainted Power is inferior to Aether AAR as the latter has much more flexible gearing and higher damage conversion
3. Necromancer bonuses-
I am not sure if it is intended or a mistake similar to Dark One set but Necromancer bonuses on this set don’t make any sense. Necro has no chaos support and therefore can never be used to make a Tainted Power build
A better alternative would be to add Inquisitor bonuses (thanks to Anathema for suggesting this), more specifically it should contain Flames of Ignaffar bonuses to support Tainted Flame builds.
This essentially opens up more build diversity as Tainted Power Mage Hunters will now have better support. It will also support Tainted Flame Deceivers and Mage Hunters.
