[Feedback] Diviner's Set and Reap Spirit

Diviner’s set is usually seen as the other Aether set that supports Reap Spirit. And while it will never compare to clairvoyant as a pure AAR set, it has its own niche trying to be a pet hybrid with the reap spirit support it has. The problem is even using diviner’s your basic filler spell will still always end up being AAR, and Reap Spirit just usually isn’t good enough to interrupt it.

The idea of having 5 spirits out at once is actually a cool idea, and the small bits of damage they do even without full pet support does add up. But at the end of the day Reap Spirit is still a single target nuke, and just adding more damage and reduced cooldown isn’t going to make it worth spamming over AAR in most situations.

My proposal is to simply add a small AoE to reap spirit either in the set or the base skill. Even 3 meters would still do a lot to increase its viability. As far as I know there have never been any truly powerful builds using reap spirit for the nuke capability, so I can’t really see this making the skill overpowered.

My other problem with the set is the shoulders and chest only supporting one type of damage. Would having both Aether and Vitality damage on both of them really make them too strong?

Plus one to suggestions. Right now set looks like Clairvoyant’s really poor distant couisin that calls once a year, mixes up your kids’ names and always ends up asking for a “little loan”

Yeah, it’s been asked around about change to Divinity set. Reap Spirit is lousy nuke skill and it’s not even full pet build. Idk both player’s and pet hybrid and both vitality and aether set. End result is something which doesn’t have true purpose. :thinking:

You guys didn’t see Roman’s newest AAR? This is off-topic but 2pc Diviner is the best thing. Nothing whatsoever to do with Reap Spirit, though. Outside pet builds RS is not worth 1 point.

Agree with change correct me if i am wrong but it is only set that doesnt have %x and %y damage on all pieces.
Agree it could use some radius on reap spirit but i would make it set exclusive only and only when you have all pieces otherwise feel like tooning down the -RR on helmet should be priority but then others builds would take hit as well who relly on it it would be simple o strong for one point wonder having aoe RR shred.
Another thing would be removing 100% Fire to vitality on devastation.
What about changing wraith to scale with player bonus would make it to op? decrease the number of wraiths then?

Currently running diviner build on HC in crucible ignored AAR completally and using Seal of destruction to fill time when reap spirit is on CD but that is mostly because it is already stated that reap spirit isnt just that good nuke even it is created with that intention.

Here is what i using at the moment facetanking anything with fully converted vitality to aether and with bat + wendigo + MOT and Mirror.
