All runs were made with 4 blessings and 3 level one Storm Beacons for better aggro.
1:19, wave 155 - white mob got stuck in the bottom right
5:40, wave 168 - wendigo hero got stuck in the bottom left and Ugdenbog Cannibal white mob got stuck in the left spawn
Crucible of the Dead on the other hand seems to have become better, almost no mobs getting stuck except Bargoll, the dumb tree, still blocking himself with plants sometimes.
0:50, wave 153 - Obsidian chtonian hero got stuck in bottom left
2:19, wave 158 - a different kind of chtonian hero got stuck in bottom left
2:54, wave 160 - Kuba chilling at bottom left
6:16, wave 169 - Dravis not joining the fight chilling at bottom right till the end
If anyone has exact parameters as to a repro for this, that would be helpful, as we’ve had no luck reproducing mobs getting stuck.
The above information is relevant, but unfortunately doesn’t point to any obvious culprit beyond it seeming random in nature, which indicates it’s not a particular mob’s behavior or spawn position.
Things that might (or might not) matter…
Crucible played
Defenses spawned and their upgrades and locations
Primary skills used
When it occurs (ex. it only starts after you’ve restarted from checkpoint 1 or 2 times with/without claiming rewards)
Where you are in the arena relative to the stuck mob when it occurs
Always play Crucible of the Dead
Always play 3 Stomrcaller’s beacons lvl1 with top right spot empty or 4 beacons, buttom left is lvl2
Happens to every build, regardless if it’s caster or melee
Mobs can get stuck any time but they are more prone to getting stuck when the session is long
In regular waves, I’m always at the middle at the start of the wave bouncing around between the pillars trying to lure everyone i can to the center
Happens 0-3 times during the run. 0 is rare.
The monsters that get stuck more often are white Raptors (on any wave), hero Gryphon at 161, Ugdenbog golem at any wave, slow skeleton heroes at 153
Buttom right is where monsters get stuck probably 60% of the time, and i always have lvl1 beacon there.
Probably impossible or you already thought of it, but can Crucible mobs have infinite aggro distance?
I had issues with mobs getting stuck when using t3 banner top left… Using storms resolved the issues for me. Generally from the bottom two spawns. I won’t repeat the details I gave before. ssuming I get time to do more testing tomorrow, I will leave results here.
