[Feedback] New Duncan's 8-12 DA crafting bonus is useless

Would it be not possible to have the a DA bonus which scales with player level? That way we would solve this. Right now, regardless of whether you apply a fixed (well, it’s randomized around an average value right now i guess) flat or % DA bonus, it will always be either too strong or too weak.

Sometimes I think you have a portal to a parallel universe where grimdawn.com forums is filled with players who never level above level 30 and demand stuff like 10-12 DA crafting bonuses and such.

Living in two timelines is gotta be complicated.

The game is meant to be playable for other people than regular forum nerds like me.

Why can’t you take the physique bonuses for end game and be done with it. One is better than the other and that it

Just this guy being annoying again

LOL

No, but he does have a portal to the world of the majority of players who only finish Normal and then move on. Or others like me who do spend most of their time in Normal because we’re always making new builds. I have 2 Ultimate characters, 3-4 in Elite I think and the rest in Normal, even though I’ve been playing since the game first came out on early access. We’re not all mini-maxers or even care about doing such a thing.

Don’t you think I will? Just pointing out the obvious thing - that DA bonus to Duncan is a miscalculation by whoever implemented it, and something cool and usefull could take its place.

So how often are you going to craft for DA at Duncan with your Elite in Normal characters? And how often do you craft weapons/gear for them? But be honest.

I am sorry, but who the fk are you again?

Never pretty much. I make those sort of changes via GDStash where I can get the bonuses I want.

I am sorry, but who the fk are you again?

Another player just like you. However there’s no need for anyone to be insulting to anyone else here on the forum so both you watch it.

Who the fuck are you?

You voiced your opinion, zantai responded to you and you’re still bitching like a 2 year old.
So they voiced their opinion aboot you being annoying.
Other people play this game, not just you.

The DA bonus can be good for players that runs HC and SSF and thus needs to get all possible defenses already in Normal/Elite…

There are sooo many ways to play this game and I dont think it should be 99% balanced just for the L33T players

There are sooo many items, etc for end-game stuff for those that need to make sub 5min cruci builds too. Dont worry

I voiced my opinion and most people here support it, because I have some weight behind my claims which come in a form of 1800 hours of playtime and couple of dozens of top-tier diverse builds that a lot of people enjoy and play.

Then Z. swoops in and basically neglects everything I said and all the players who think the same (because it’s such an obvious thing) with a ridiculous statement about “low level players needing that DA crafting bonus” which we all know couldn’t be further from thruth. Most beginners players don’t even know about crafting bonuses, let’s be honest here, and those who know about them - rush through normal and elite.

But then that guy “Ana” with one “n” and you has to chime in with your personal insults based on the fact that you don’t like my forum personna or something. Well keep your opinions about me to yourself or send me pms, don’t come into my thread and flood it with bullshit like “oh this guy is annoying” or “this guy is bitching”. Stick to the topic, in other words.

I think the point ML was trying to make was that the difference in DA for low level players is so small between Duncan flat DA and %physique. It won’t impact a playthrough very much and the Duncan DA will not keep more players interested in the game.

I think if you want to improve the experience of new players there are much more worthy endeavours first. E.g I’ve seen a few new players streaming before that had negative experiences from not having AoE or low health/res. These things can reduce the enjoyment experienced and so trying to at least get players to think about these things may help improve their experience and keep them playing (possibly to then to go on and buy the xpac :D). AFAIK the game gives no direction whatsoever to the player about what kind of skills or gear that would be wise to look for and use. The sword and board cadence user that takes defensive devotion and only uses gear with +%physical damage needs help Z!

I am sorry, but who the fk are you again?[/QUOTE]

Someone answered already what I think
But let’s be honest, u’re just a cancer to this forum
You’re annoying, just pointing this out
Make yourself better and stop being cancer

Sorry mods, not saying anything about this cancer ever again, i’ll just avoid threads that he’s bitching

Oh boy, this guy is now sending me private messages
ROFL
dude, stop being cancer, u already got your dev answer
U’re making these forums miserable these days
You’re not 100% right all the time.

I’m really just avoiding threads that you’re in from now on, Oh master mad lee.

What’s going on today? Is this “test a mod” day or something?

Opinions have been expressed, Crate have responded. Subject closed.

Alas, I live in the real world where hardcore players like you are the vast minority of our players.

Endgame crafting has a vast array of crafting options and the crafting bonus this replaced you weren’t using in Crucible builds anyway, so no loss for you.
