What kind of ideas/feedback is Crate looking for nowadays? Anything and everything, as before? Or has it grown more specialized following release?
I ran into this problem toward the end of December/January, too, where I had some minor suggestions/tweaks I wanted to put forth but didn’t know whether it’d be worthwhile to make a writeup(s) for them given the imminent release of the game. Now that the release of the game has come and gone, I have no idea what Crate’s looking to update further. Balance? Design? QoL?
Maybe what I said earlier about becoming a Praetorian to be listened by them is true, huh?
They told me that if I had ay feedback, that I should post it, and I did make a suggestion on the no-reply section about a week ago, but it doesn’t have even a single view, aside from the single one that the forum will always show after you create a thread. They didn’t even bothered open the thread…
Guess what? I give up bringing in ideas and feedback, and I advise any non-praetorian user to do the same.
I think the Devs are still open to feedback, but with caveats. It’s no easy task trying to sift through legitimate and pointless feedback and feedback from modders. There are a lot of players in the forum who’ve in some way modified their game, and many others who play legit only. But how are the Devs to know for certain which is which? Obviously some of the older players have maintained their legit status and their word overtime becomes gold, and that gives the appearance of favoritism to new forum members.
Now for my feedback! The drop rate for Ancient Hearts has become so low that I haven’t found a single one from Devils Crossing to Homestead in Epic level.
The Devs pay attention to how players feel about their experiences. If too many begin to complain about something that doesn’t seem to be working, or something that seems to be working too well, then they respond. If you’ve had a skill nerfed out of the blue, then you will know what I mean.
