I am new to this game and made my first build and I want to know what I can do to improve it.
I can’t submit a link without three posts, so this is the grimtools id:

Sweet baby Ch’thon, you need much more health and DA. Take those points out of Spirit, you only ever need to invest as much as is necessary to equip gear. You can take points out of Cunning too for the same reason and also because you have plenty of OA.
Be warned about investing in Blade Trap - it does not effect bosses (purple names and higher) and some heroes. It’s ok for holding trash and a good amount of heroes but they’ll likely die to your blades or any AoE procs you might have anyway.
You are missing useful skills that Nightblades take for more survival, namely:
-Pneumatic Burst. On-demand heal, % total speed and svoid/DA.
-Veil of Shadow. Effectively more DA for you by reducing OA of nearby enemies in a radius.
-Ring of Steel + Circle of Slaughter. Provides Fumble. Even works on Nemeses.
-(If you’re using a melee weapon) Shadow Strike. Allows you to enter or leave combat quickly.
The only Occultist skill you might want to consider picking up is transmuted Dreeg’s Evil Eye with a single pont for the physical damage reduction on Focused Gaze and because it can make a decent devotion proccer too.
A Phantasmal Blades guide was posted recently, take a look here for some ideas on how to improve your current build:

Thanks for the help, I looked at what you said and made some changes.

Much better than what you had originally
You should be able to at least tackle endgame pretty well. If you were to up your stun resistance even a bit, you’d be able to make a good attempt at Crucible too - Leathery Hide and the first node of Empty Throne are a good start if you can spare both, then one MI with a suffix such as ‘of Kings’ or ‘of the Flesh Hulk’ will get close to capping it out at around 70%.
Otherwise, I haven’t done any testing to say how to properly fine-tune the build at the end.
Don’t have any of the DLCs currently, but thanks for all the help.
You should go for Ashes of Malmouth to do this build, most of your gear were added in AoM.
Anyway now your build looks well-rounded, but requires testing ofc.
