Total Damage Modified by -30% to Drain Essence does not affect the retaliation damage added to attack (rata) so why is that modifier even on this amulet in the first place? If the point of this modifier was to tone down rata drain essence a bit, it should be like “total retaliation damage modified by -x%” instead like on Overguards Markovian advantage transmuter.
Refer to my comment on my build. This has been known since FG release. Crate had to create a corresponding stat for this that’s specific to retal 1 patch after FG release (see overguard and later on beronath sword) cause they didn’t want that stat to affect retal.
The intent wasn’t to nerf retal DE. That mod has been there since beta. The intent was to not make a hybrid retal/nonretal DE build.
Same with Aegis transmuter on OK? To punish hybrids??
Most likely yes. Cause hybrid retal aegis is actually decent at the moment but still worse than either pure nonretal or pure retal
I would rather say to avoid abusing this amulet on any DE build, because those bonuses are pretty OP otherwise.
