[Feedback] Will of Fate

Dear Crate team and community,

Since there are no signs of changing the situation with Will of Fate (or did I miss something?) I would like to provide feedback on it in separate thread. The item looks nice and interesting to use in some builds, but I feel it needs some love. I would like to propose the following:

  1. Add “x% Attack Speed” bonus. As for now WoF is really slow compared to other rifles, for example Vortex of Soul (Legendary and Mythical versions).

  2. Add mythical version of WoF to support end game for 2h ranged elemental builds.

  3. Grant “+1 to all skills in Inquisitor” for mythical version of WoF.
    It seems reasonable since the weapon has pierce and elemental damage types and Inquisitor mastery supports these damage types as well. We also have example of epic item granting “+1 to all skills” to 3 masteries - Mythical Arcanoweave Cord.

I get the feeling Crate intends the Ugdenbog Arcaneweaver to be the “spiritual successor” of WoF. I could be wrong.

While these weapons are close in spirit there is the reason why the Ugdenbog Arcaneweaver can’t be “spiritual successor” of WoF. The rifle grants every ranged attack (Fire Strike, Primal Strike, Savagery, Inquisitor’s WPS and etc) 100% chance to pass through enemies. For now we have only one legendary and only one epic 2h ranged weapons with this sweet property - Vortex of Souls (including mythical version) and Will of Fate.
